Vung Ro Bay in the central province of Phu Yen is small but beautiful. Seen from Ca Pass, Vung Ro looks like a watercolor painting.
Vung Ro Bay is the natural maritime boundary between Phu Yen and Khanh Hoa. Covering an area of 16,4km, Vung Ro is sheltered by three high mountains of Deo Ca, Da Bia and Hon Ba in the north, east and west and Hon Nua island to the south.
For its strategic location, Vung Ro was a fierce battlefield. Vung Ro today has put on a new robe, with the fresh green color of life. It is the shelter of hundreds of boats and the home to hundreds of fish cages.
Vietnam is rapidly evolving as a unique destination for investment, living and tourism alike. With so much to offer from its rich and diverse culture, to its dramatic history and natural beauty, it has a growing reputation as the place to be seen and to do business. Major growth areas, economic zones and tourism are being promoted across the country, none less so than in Phu Yen Province in the south east coastal areas, and in particular around its capital at Tuy Hoa City. With this, is an exciting opportunity to support Vietnam’s dynamic growth with an ambitious Masterplan for development at a Vung Ro Bay.
Since 2003, Vung Ro Petroleum Ltd has been working towards providing major investment in new businesses in the region. In 2011, they had a vision to create a new living environment to complement this investment. Atkins was commissioned to realise this vision and have created the Vung Ro Bay Masterplan. The in-house team of designers and engineers worked together to form a robust and creditable long term strategy for balanced and flexible growth.
